HOW IS EASTER'S GASTRONOMY IN SPAIN?

Hello everyone!

Easter is coming, and as you may know every country has its own Easter's gastronomy, so I'm going to talk about ours.

In the east of Spain, it's typical to eat a kind of cake called “Mona de Pascua”. There are many kinds of “mona”, but the traditional one is made of bread's dough, aniseed, almonds and a boiled egg. There are others with chocolate eggs and fruits.
It could have different animal forms: monkey, rabbit, snake , or even a lizard!
Besides, it is very colourful: the eggs are painted with colouring, and also the aniseed has different colours.
I really like the “mona” because it is sweet and tasty.

I'll leave you a photo, so you can see how it is.

See you!
